Sticky Tape
For many years I have used double-sided tape to mount similar PCBs. Sometimes hot-melt will work as well, if the board does not get hot of course. A bit of care is always useful too.

Lots of ripple
10 mV ripple with no-load. 50 mV with ~1A. But if youre not worried about that, its a pretty good deal.

Nice except for mounting.
I mounted mine with wire ties that have screw eyes on the end. Works fine.

Very useful buck converter not boost
This is a buck converter - the specs make that clear. This charges my iPhone, which wont charge from a powered USB hub that doesnt respond to USB charge protocol, though some other devices do. Doesnt even get warm when drawing about a half amp at 12V. Im building an off-grid hurricane backup power supply and needed something that would charge any USB device. This seems to be it. Id have given it 5 stars if there was some reasonable way to mount it, but there are no holes and the components come to the edges. Im still trying to figure that out.
